The Cairngorm Park, encompassing some of the most beautiful of Scotland's
highland scenery, is an outstanding destination for holidaying in any season.
The range of facilities, activities and interests catered for in the area is
second to none in the UK, and includes; golfing, bird-watching, walking &
climbing, mountain-biking, cycle hire, sailing & windsurfing, canoeing, wildlife
parks, mountain railway, steam railway, outdoor activity parks (for big kids and
little), skiing & snowboarding (the Cairngorm ski area is arguably the best in
Britain), horse-riding, gliding, and salmon & trout fishing. For those who need
less to do in their holidays all you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy one
of Europe's most outstanding natural environments.
We first fell in love with the Cairngorms about twenty years ago and have
spent many weeks and weekends holidaying in the area ever since. Being a bit
slow it took us many years to finally realise we should look to get a property
of our own. It then took about three years searching; several frustrated
attempts and failed bids before we eventually managed to secure the “ideal”
property. We were looking for a location that gave us quick and easy access to
all the main areas within the park (see the links and location pages for more on
this) but which was peaceful had outstanding views and gave us immediate access
to forest and woodland walks. We wanted a property which gave plenty of room for
sharing with friends and family; which was as comfortable and well kitted out as
our own home but which gave a real sense of being in the country and away from
it all. Our aim was to provide a luxury self catering property that our guests
would want to come back to again and again.
The result is a property which has already afforded us several fantastic
holidays and one which we hope you choose to try for yourself. Take a few

just been through a complete refurbishment with new bathrooms, new fitted
kitchen and new solid oak flooring throughout. There are new fixtures and
fittings in all the rooms and we're sure you'll particularly love the open plan
lounge, dining area with centre piece log burner as well as the balcony accessed
from two sides of the house which gives you ample opportunity for dining and
relaxing in the open air whilst drinking in the beautiful surroundings.
The house is located in the Spey Valley and is in easy reach of all the main
Cairngorm Park villages: Aviemore, Grantown-on-Spey (Grantown), Nethy Bridge,
Dulnain Bridge and Boat of Garten.
